Become a Member

ETV is excited to announce the debut of our new membership program. Designed for everyone from the beginner to the experienced content creator, you can use our media facilities on a pre-paid monthly basis, or sign up in advance for longer blocks. Together with our professional on-site staff, you can take training sessions on the various pieces of equipment, start a YouTube channel, or settle in and edit your longer project.

Member FAQ

Who can become a member?
Anyone! While Members with East Haven residency receive priority for rentals/reservations, content creators across the region are welcome here. We welcome fellow nonprofits, college students, CT Filmmakers, and our pARTners in the Arts.

What does membership cost?

Only $20/month! Sign up for one month at a time - or get a discount for multiple months.
 
What does membership include?

Free tech training sessions, access to digital media workstations, as well as the podcast station, green screen, studio space, and much more! Members can convert old videos into digital files. Members can petition to join the board, and vote in board members elections.

How do I become a producer?
Members who are interested in production television at ETV should contact a staff member. We strongly encourage that you attend our training sessions, or are otherwise comfortable handling the tasks involved in video production, including editing. We are happy to help you where needed!

What policies do I need to follow?
Members and producers are required to adhere to our Professional Conduct Policy (see our Policies page for more info). Members must also use the equipment properly and return rental equipment on time, and in working order, to remain in good standing.

What is a community media center?
Our new vision for ETV, this is a studio space for members to learn, grow, create, collab, digitize, share, record, make and edit videos, digitize old video footage, and more!

Where are you located?
Our new Community Media Center is located at 230 Main St., next door to Puff City. Free parking is available in back.
