  • Our new Community Media Center is located at 230 Main St., next door to Puff City. Free parking is available behind the building.

  • ETV is a multi-use studio space for Members and Professionals to learn media skills, create content, edit, collaborate, and share their work. To remain accessible to our community, membership is only $20 a month and includes media classes, access to studio amenities, and digitization of old footage. 

  • Anyone! Content creators across the region are welcome here. While members with East Haven residency receive priority to reserve the space, we welcome fellow non-profits, high school and college students, podcasters, filmmakers, and our pARTners in the Arts.   • Yes. Our digital capture cart can digitize several formats, including VHS, DVD, and MiniDV. You can also bring your own older format video camera (EX: VHS-C, MiniDisc, etc), if it has RCA outputs (for red, white, and yellow cables.) This service is free for current members. For those looking for ETV to digitize your videos, we charge $20 per hour of footage. 

  • Videotaping depends on staff / equipment availability, and the nature of the event. ETV does not air promotional or commercial content. We prefer to give you the tools and training to capture your event. 

  • ETV is available for paid video and media services. Please click our Services page for more information. Please note that any project that is promotional or commercial in nature will not be eligible for time on our airwaves. 

  • Yes. Space and equipment are free for members to reserve. Use of tools and studio space is on a first come, first serve basis. We also offer a range of paid rental options for professionals, including studio lockouts, extended equipment rentals, and more. Organizations seeking a meeting space can also contact us for availability. 

  • Yes. ETV offers both individual and group training for members, covering topics such as video cameras, audio, multi-camera shoots, podcasting, digital capture of old footage, video editing, and more. 

  • Programs airing on any of our three channels must adhere to ETV’s terms of service. All programs submitted for broadcast are reviewed to ensure they don’t violate our Terms of Service. Producers must also adhere to the Professional Conduct Policy and be in good standing. ETV reserves the right to remove any program or deny any program from airing if it fails to conform to these guidelines.

  • We make every effort to air programs as quickly as possible. Edit times and the availability of slots for new programs vary greatly. Scheduling of completed and approved programs by / for East Haven residents may take precedent.
